Ultimate Custom Case

The ultimate custom case that was included and came with The Dream Stratocaster is the one shown in the above picture.

It is a one off design and completely unique as is the guitar. I would describe this case as a sort of 'Birdseye' finish in a pink coloured covering. Other than the unique finish the case also has a real leather handle. Basically it seems like Ostrich finish and may or may not be the genuine ostrich.

Internally the case has a custom compartment about two thirds the way up the neck - again a unique design for this specific instrument.

I have to say that I had never seen a guitar case that was made like the one supplied on the Fender Dream. It is no doubt unique as the instrument itself. I am not aware of the cost of the case, but my guess is that to make a 'one off' case like this one was created would be a very hefty cost indeed. It's befitting a guitar such as the Dream guitar and that in itself goes some way as to how Fender themselves viewed the creation and safety of the custom Dream guitar itself. The overall cost of the whole project I believe was in the $70,000 region and so a guitar like that NEEDS a very high quality case that can protect the guitar from the rigours of the road in the hands of a complete guitar professional - Awesome John!
