Awesome John ( Asim Can Gunduz ) I met following an eBay sale of the 'Dream Strat' - or should I say a 'non sale' of that guitar.
Basically the guitar was put on eBay and it simply did not sell! The price was fair and I think everyone thought it was a fake!
In reality, the guitar and Asim were both real and so I contacted Asim and offered the asking price... Asim agreed.

But not only did he agree, he sent the guitar for me to look at without even payment! Asim, was (RIP Asim) a very trusting and
really nice guy that I had the privilege to talk to off and on for a number of years. Always courteous and as you can imagine,
He know so much about guitars and tone, and of course he knew many contacts being a pro player.

I met Piereangelo of Mezzabarba and later bought an M Zero One from him as Asim always recommended that amp, and I
can tell you it really is as good as Asim said. Over the years we discussed many different products, and in many ways re
the equipment I guess I had the want to always seek new stuff just as Asim did.

When Asim passed, I was surprised and shocked at the time, but I for one will always remember Asim because he was a
diamond in the rough - and anyone who really knows the music business would probably agree. RIP Asim my friend
