Gene Baker - A Gentleman

Here is some of Gene Baker's other more recent work - however Gene did not continue with the 'Baker' guitars and the rights to sell them moved later to Ed Romans guitars in Las Vegas.

Gene was a real gentleman and has assisted in the refurbishment of the gold plating on the Dream strat and he did a very good job indeed. Watch this space for the latest on this great guy.. In any case if you can find one of the original Gene Baker guitars you will be finding a gem! watch out for them - they are classics. 

The quality of the work on the Fender Dream is without doubt exceptional. Gene was always very affable and helped so much to get certain parts refinished. Without his help the project might never have been completed, but I remain grateful to this day (written in 2023) and I will always thank Gene Baker as being one of the very important people that helped me when they really did not have to.

Gene I believe is back at Fender doing what he is best at - making guitars!
